Dr. Franques is a board certified pediatrician by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Franques knew that she wanted to work with children from a young age and decided that the best way to do that was to become a pediatrician. She graduated from The University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2005 with her medical degree. During that time, she worked with a children's literacy program. She completed her residency and served as Chief Resident at University of Nebraska Medical Center/ Creighton University/ Children's Hospital Pediatric Joint Residency Program in Omaha, NE.
Her passion is developmental pediatrics and she enjoys watching children grow, develop and learn. Dr. Franques has a son, Bentley, who has given her a new appreciation for parental guidance. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Dr. Franques believes that there is no greater role in life than to be a parent. She takes that approach when educating parents in the office. She delights in children and wants to help your child live their life to their greatest potential.
Amber Griffin is the Owner/Medical Practice Executive for Thompson River Pediatrics and Urgent Care. Amber is a graduate of Boise State University. She uses her extensive business experience to keep the practice running smoothly. She oversees the billing, marketing, human relations, safety and long term goals of the practice. As a mother of three, she understands what parents want when they come to the doctor's office and is dedicated to making each child's and parent's experience positive.
is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Originally from the Boston area, she received her Bachelors in Nursing program from Simmons College and graduated from the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program at Boston College. She loves working with infants, children and adolescents. Prior to working as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, she worked as a NICU nurse at North Shore Medical Center in Massachusetts and a Pediatric Nurse at Children's Hospital Colorado. She lives with her husband and her son Beckett.
Rachel is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in primary care. Originally from Louisiana and Mississippi, she received her Bachelors in Nursing from the University of Southern Mississippi and graduated with her Masters in Nursing from the University of South Alabama. She is very passionate about her patients and loves caring for children of all ages. Prior to becoming a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, she worked on a mother/baby unit and in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) as a nurse, most recently at Tulane-Lakeside Hospital in New Orleans. She also enjoys drinking coffee, sunny beach vacations, and spending time with family, especially her husband and two young children.
